      Abstract
      Kebutuhan konsumsi dalam resepsi membuat bisnis katering berpotensi menguntungkan, terkhusus jenis katering pesta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pengusaha katering pernikahan dalam mengurus kepemilikan sertifikat halal. Model acuan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan theory of planned behavior (TPB) yang telah dimodifikasi. Penentuan responden dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Responden merupakan pengusaha katering pernikahan yang ada di Jawa Barat. Pengumpulan data dari responden menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara langsung dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kontrol perilaku, demografi, dan perilaku terkait berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan mengurus sertifikat halal.
       
      The need for consumption in receptions makes the catering business potentially profitable, especially the type of party catering. This study aims to analyze the characteristics and factors that affect wedding catering entrepreneurs in managing the ownership of halal certificates. The reference model in this study uses a modified theory of planned behavior (TPB). The determination of respondents in this study uses an incidental sampling technique. The respondents are wedding catering entrepreneurs in West Java. Data collection from respondents used questionnaires that were distributed directly and analyzed using descriptive analysis and logistic regression. The results of the study showed that behavioral control variables, demographics, and related behaviors had a positive and significant effect on the decision to take care of halal certificates.
