Hubungan antara Tingkat Stres, Aktivitas Fisik, dan Konsumsi Gula pada Mahasiswa Sarjana IPB University
Abstract
= 0,045, p-value = 0,359). Stress is a condition when a person experiences problems or pressures that have an impact on physical and psychological conditions. Previous studies have found that stress is associated with physical activity and sugar consumption.
However, these studies have not been conducted in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the relationship between stress levels with physical activity and sugar consumption in undergraduate students at IPB University. Data were collected from questionnaires completed by 400 undergraduate students at IPB University. Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) was used to measure respondents' stress level, International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) was used to measure
respondents' physical activity, and Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) was used to measure sugar consumption. Data were analyzed with R Studio software. The correlation between stress levels, physical activity, and sugar consumption were analyzed with the Spearman correlation test. This study showed that IPB University undergraduate students had moderate stress levels (19.71±5.28). Stress level was not significantly correlated with physical activity (? = -0.006, p-value = 0.95) and sugar consumption (? = 0.045, p-value = 0.359).
