      Abstract

Light response curves are used to see how plants can respond to their environment in photosynthesis. This curve produces quantitative parameters such as ecosystem respiration, light compensation point, and maximum NEP, as well as light saturation point. This study aims to analyze changes in the parameters of the NEP response curve to light in wet, dry, and smoky dry periods with changes in climate variability at the study site. The research method consists of determining the wet, dry, and smoky dry periods, analyzing micrometeorological elements at the study site, analyzing NEP time-series with PAR and global radiation, analyzing NEP response curve parameters to light, and statistically significant difference test. Based on the analysis results, it was found that daily and diurnal climate variability affects the changes in the values of NEP response curve parameters to light. The variability of climate elements includes air temperature, air humidity, rainfall, solar radiation, plant water availability, and atmospheric conditions due to haze particles.
