      Pengaruh Curah Hujan dan Pasang Surut Terhadap Salinitas Air di Sungai Betokan Indramayu

      Abstract
      Indramayu dengan sebagian besar wilayah berupa sawah, sangat bergantung pada curah hujan untuk mendukung pertanian tanaman padi. Namun, kekeringan akibat kurangnya curah hujan memaksa petani menggunakan air irigasi tergolong salin. Penggunaan air irigasi tersebut mengancam tanaman padi dan menyebabkan penurunan produksi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh curah hujan dan dinamika pasang surut terhadap salinitas air di Sungai Betokan, Indramayu. Metode Admiralty digunakan untuk menganalisis karakteristik pasang surut, sementara pengukuran kualitas air dilakukan dengan Inverse Distance Weighting dan uji regresi linier. Penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai formzahl 2,80, yang menunjukkan kejadian pasang surut berjenis campuran dengan kecenderungan harian tunggal dan pola curah hujan monsunal. Pasang surut meningkatkan salinitas air, sementara curah hujan tinggi mampu menurunkan salinitas di area studi. Analisis regresi berganda antara curah hujan dan pasang surut menghasilkan nilai R2 sebesar 88,11%, dengan curah hujan memberikan kontribusi pengaruh yang lebih besar. Temuan riset ini menunjukkan bahwa dinamika pasang surut dan kejadian hujan dapat dijadikan acuan untuk mengetahui tingkat salinitas di aliran sungai.
       
      Indramayu, with most of its area being rice fields, heavily relies on rainfall to support rice farming. However, drought due to lack of rainfall forces farmers to use saline irrigation water. The use of this irrigation water threatens rice crops and causes a decrease in production. This study aims to identify the influence of rainfall and tidal dynamics on the salinity of the water in the Betokan River, Indramayu. The Admiralty method is used to analyze the characteristics of the tides, while water quality measurements are carried out with Inverse Distance Weighting and linear regression tests. This research produces a formzahl value of 2.80, which indicates mixed-type tidal events with a tendency for single daily and monsoonal rainfall patterns. Tides increase water salinity, while high rainfall can reduce salinity in the study area. The multiple regression analysis between rainfall and tides results in an R2 value of 88.11%, with rainfall contributing a greater influence. The findings of this research indicate that tidal dynamics and rainfall events can be used as a reference to determine the level of salinity in river flow.
