Analisis Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Keputusan Masyarakat dalam Membayar Zakat Profesi di Kota Cirebon

Abstract

Zakat profesi merupakan salah satu instrumen redistribusi pendapatan yang dapat meminimalkan kesenjangan ekonomi di masyarakat. Kota Cirebon memiliki potensi zakat profesi yang cukup besar, tetapi realisasinya hanya sebesar Rp228 juta atau 2,3% dari potensinya sebesar Rp10 miliar. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa masih ada dana zakat yang belum terhimpun dari masyarakat Kota Cirebon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan masyarakat dalam membayar zakat profesi di Kota Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi logistik. Hasil analisis logistik menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel religiusitas yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan masyarakat dalam membayar zakat profesi di Kota Cirebon.

The zakat profession is an income redistribution instrument that can minimize the problem of inequality in society. The city of Cirebon has quite a large potential for the zakat profession, but the realization is only Rp228 million or 2,3% from the targeted potential of Rp10 billion. This indicates that there are still zakat funds that have not been collected from the people of Cirebon City. This research aims to determine the factors that influence people's decisions in paying zakat profession in Cirebon City. This research uses the logistic regression analysis method. The results of the logistic analysis show that only the religiosity variable has a positive and significant effect on people's decisions in paying zakat professionals in Cirebon City.
