      Abstract
      Penyediaan bibit yang berkualitas merupakan hal yang penting dalam kegiatan revegetasi. Produksi bibit dapat dilakukan sacara generatif dan vegetatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh aplikasi indole butyric acid (IBA) dan media setek terhadap keberhasilan setek pucuk jati. Bahan setek diambil dari kebun pangkas jati PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia. Setek jati diberi perlakuan dengan zat pengatur tumbuh IBA (0, 250, dan 500 ppm) dan media setek (tanah, pasir, dan pasir + arang sekam). Keberhasilan setek jati dilihat dari kemampuan bahan setek untuk bertunas dan berakar. Aplikasi IBA tidak berpengaruh nyata, sedangkan media setek berpengaruh nyata terhadap keberhasilan setek jati. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi IBA yang diaplikasikan pada setek jati, maka semakin lama periode kemunculan tunas, semakin sedikit jumlah akar yang terbentuk, dan semakin pendek panjang akar. Hal ini menandakan bahwa auksin endogen pada bahan setek jati sudah cukup tinggi. Media setek berupa tanah merupakan media yang terbaik untuk mendukung keberhasilan setek jati. Secara umum, keberhasilan setek jati dalam penelitian ini masih rendah (11%).
       
      Providing quality seedlings is important in revegetation activities. Seedling production can be done generatively and vegetatively. This study aims to analyse the effect of indole butyric acid (IBA) application and cutting media on the success of teak shoot cuttings. The cuttings were taken from the teak pruning garden of PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia. Teak cuttings were treated with IBA growth regulator (0, 250, and 500 ppm) and cutting media (soil, sand, and sand + husk charcoal). The success of teak cuttings was seen from the ability of the cuttings material to sprout and root. The application of IBA had no significant effect, while the cutting media had a significant effect on the success of teak cuttings. The higher the concentration of IBA applied to teak cuttings, the longer the period of shoot emergence, the fewer the number of roots formed, and the shorter the root length. This indicates that the endogenous auxin in the teak cuttings material is already quite high. Soil is the best medium to support the success of teak cuttings. In general, the success of teak cuttings in this study was still low (11%).
