      Perilaku Sphex argentatus (Hymenoptera: Sphecidae) pada Lapangan Golf Palm Hill Sentul, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat.

      Abstract
      Sphex argentatus merupakan serangga predator. Namun karena perilakunya yang membuat lubang pada daerah green, serangga ini dapat dikategorikan sebagai perusak. Kerusakan yang terjadi berupa lubang dan gundukan tanah yang membuat green menjadi tidak mulus. S. argentatus menggali lubang untuk meletakkan telur di dalamnya. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku S. argentatus dan gangguan yang ditimbulkan pada lapangan golf, serta dampak yang disebabkannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada lapangan golf Palm Hill Sentul, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat dengan metode observasi. Data diperoleh dengan mengamati aktivitas S. argentatus yang berada pada area green selama 60 hari pada dua hole yang telah ditentukan berdasarkan hasil dari survei pra penelitian. Aktivitas menggali lubang dilakukan oleh betina S. argentatus, sedangkan jantan tidak membuat lubang galian pada area green, tetapi terbang secara terus-menerus di sekitar area green untuk mencari betina yang sudah siap kawin. Kedalaman lubang yang digali sekitar 15-55 cm. Aktivitas yang paling lama dilakukan S. argentatus yaitu pada saat mencari mangsa berupa belalang yang akan dimasukkan ke dalam lubang sekitar 65-260 menit.
       
      Sphex argentatus play role as a predator. It however due to behaviour of making a hole on the green, this predator categorized a pest. The damage that occurred was in the form of holes and mounds of soil on the partsgreen. St. argentatusdig a hole to lay eggs in it. The aim of the research is to determine behaviorSt. argentatusand the disruption caused to the golf course, as well as the impact this causes. This research was conducted at the Palm Hill Sentul golf course, Bogor Regency, West Java using the observation method. Data is obtained by observing activitiesSt. argentatuswhich is in the areagreen for 60 days on twohole which has been determined based on the results of the pre-research survey. The hole digging activity is carried out by the femaleSt. Argentatuswhile males do not dig holes in the areagreen, but flies continuously around the areagreen to find females who are ready to mate. The depth of the hole dug is around 15-55 cm. The activity that took the longest timeSt. argentatusnamely when looking for prey in the form of grasshoppers which will be put into the hole for around 65-260 minutes.
