      Abstract
Rafflesia patma Blume is holopharasite and dioceous plant. Holopharasite means that it is completely dependent on the host plant for its nutrition and survival. Dioceous means having male and female flowers borne on separate plants. R.patma is Javan endemic plant. One of habitat R.patma is Leuweung Sancang Nature Reserve. R.patma prereservation could be done by suitability habitat mapping. The research was aimed to map suitable habitat of R.patma in Leuweung Sancang Nature Reserve. The research was conducted at Leuweung Sancang Nature Reserve on August 2008. Analysis were conducted on October 2008 until December 2008. The research used 5 physical habitat variable such as altitude, slope, distance from river, soil, LAI (Leaf Area Index) and soil classification. Map analysis was ArcView 3.2 and Erdas Imagine 9.1,mean while LAI analysis was calculated by using Hemiview. Weighting were conducted by using determined used Principle Component Analysis. There were two principle component with total initial eigenvalues 3,077 and 1,148. Physical habitat factor that gave significant effect on habitat suitability model were distance from river and soil classification. The model which was used to determine the habitat suitability in Leuweung Sancang Nature Reserve was Y = (3,077xFk1) + (3,077xFk2) + (1,148xFk3) + (1,148xFk4) +(1,148 x Fk5). The habitat suitability map were reclassified into three class, high, medium and low suitability. The result showed that were 324,373 hectares of high suitability habitat, 1701,435 hectares of medium suitability habitat and 692,893 hectares of high habitat. The habitat suitability map could be accepted by showing the validation about 93% for the high habitat suitability.
