      Abstract
ABSTRACT FATIMAH SYAM KARSONO PUTRI. Analysis of Productivity Phenolic, Flavonoid, and Antioxidant Capacity of Adenostemma lavenia under Different Light Conditions and Nutrient Concentrations.. Supervised by IRMANIDA BATUBARA and TAOPIK RIDWAN. Variations in shading levels and nutrient concentrations in the cultivation of the medicinal plant Adenostemma lavenia using hydroponic methods can lead to distinct yields of phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and antioxidant capacity. The levels of phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and antioxidant capacity were determined using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The research results revealed that the combination of no shading and 600 ppm nutrient concentration resulted in the highest phenolic productivity of 7.68±1.67 μmol Gallic Acid Equivalent per plant. The combination of 25% shading and 1000 ppm nutrient concentration yielded the highest flavonoid productivity of 0.58±0.34 μmol Quercetin Equivalent per plant. Additionally, the combination of no shading and 600 ppm nutrient concentration exhibited the highest antioxidant capacity productivity of 536.23±117.66 μmol Ascorbic Acid Equivalent per plant. The optimal outcome was observed in the flavonoid productivity of the no shading and 800 ppm nutrient concentration combination. Keywords: Adenostemma lavenia, antioxidant capacity, nutrient concentration, shade, phenolic compounds.
