Estimation of Genetic and Stability Parameters for Yield and Yield Components of Peanut (Arachis hypogaea (L) Merr.)
Pendugaan parameter genetik dan parameter stabilitas hasil dan komponen hasil kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea (L) Merr)
Abstract
Genetic parameters for number of total pods, munber of seeded pods, number of unseeded pods, number of seeds, 100 seed weight (gram), pod weight (gram/1,4 m2), and seed weight (yield)(gram/1,4 m2) were estimated from field in a split plot design with 3 replications at 3 locations (Cikeumeuh, Sukamandi, and Kuningan). There main plots werw used, i.e. the peanuts werw grown in monoculture and in assosiation with maize grown at 7 and 15 days after the peanuts werw planted, respectively. There growing environments used in this study were to create a greater environmental variation. It was done becouse many peanut famers are still planing this crop either in monoculture or associated with maize in Indonesia. Parameter genetik untuk jumlah polong total, jumlah polong isi, jumlah polong hampa, jumlah polong biji, berat 100 biji (gram), berat polong petak (gram), dan berat biji (hasil) per petak (gram) diduga dari suatu percobaan yang ditanam di Cikeumeuh, Sukamandi, dan Kuningan dalam musim ditanam bulan Juni sampai September dan November sampai Fabruari tahun 1984 sampai 1985.
