      Analisis Perbandingan Kinerja Protokol MQTT dan HTTP pada Perangkat IoT Pemantau Kualitas Udara

      Abstract
      Kegiatan industri dan transportasi menghasilkan peningkatan konsentrasi materi partikulat yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan masyarakat. Pentingnya memasang alat pemantau udara untuk memantau dan memberikan data yang dibutuhkan untuk mengambil tindakan preventif untuk melindungi kesehatan masyarakat. Dalam upaya menjaga lingkungan, penting untuk membangun alat yang hemat sumber daya. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun alat pemantau kualitas udara serta analisis konsumsi daya yang digunakan alat. Menggunakan konsep Internet of Things dan protokol komunikasi Message Queuing Telemetry Transport serta Hypertext Transfer Protocol untuk mengirim data, juga menggunakan sensor DSM501A kualitas udara dapat dipantau. Hasil penelitian ini berhasil membangun alat pemantauan kualitas udara menggunakan Internet of Things, mulai dari perancangan alat dan pengiriman data. Selain itu, dari pengujian protokol, QoS 0 memiliki delay dan penggunaan paling rendah baik pada jaringan WiFi dan GSM. Delay sebesar 238 ms dan daya 77,282 mA pada GSM, lalu delay 35 ms dan daya 71,641 mA pada WiFi. Pada semua protokol, semua data yang dikirim tidak menunjukkan adanya packet loss.
       
      Industrial and transportation activities result in increased concentrations of particulate matter that are harmful to public health. It is important to install air monitoring devices to monitor and provide data needed to take preventive measures to protect public health. In an effort to protect the environment, it is important to build resource-efficient devices. This research aims to build an air quality monitoring device and analyze the power consumption used by the device. Using the Internet of Things concept as well as Message Queuing Telemetry Transport and Hypertext Transfer Protocol, air quality can be monitored through sensor called DSM501A. The result of this study successfully built an air quality monitoring tool using Internet of Things, starting from tool design and data transmission. In addition, from both protocol testing, QoS 0 has the lowest delay and power usage on both WiFi and GSM networks. Delay of 238 milliseconds and power usage of 77,282 mA on GSM, then delay of 35 milliseconds and power usage of 71,641 mA on WiFi. In all protocols, all data sent showed no packet loss.
