      Pemanfaatan Satwa Liar oleh Masyarakat Kawasan Taman Nasional Danau Sentarum

      Abstract
      Taman Nasional Danau Sentarum memiliki keanekaragaman satwa liar yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan satwa liar yang dimanfaatkan, bentuk dan cara penangkapan satwa liar, perburuan satwa liar, cara pengolahan satwa aliar, dan nilai manfaat ekonomi satwa liar masyarakat TNDS. Pengambilan data dilakukan di Desa Pulau Majang dan Desa Tinting Seligi, Kapuas Hulu, Kalimantan Barat. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode pengamatan lapang (observasi), wawancara dan studi pustaka serta analisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Masyarakat Pulau majang memanfaatkan 7 jenis satwa liar (1,3%) sedangkan masyarakat Tinting Seligi memanfaatkan 13 jenis satwa liar (2,41%) dari keseluruhan jenis mamalia, burung dan herpetofauna TNDS. Masyarakat desa Tinting Seligi dan Pulau Majang dalam penangkapan satwa liar dilakukan secara individu dan berkelompok 3-7 orang. Masyarakat melakukan penangkapan satwa liar pada siang dan malam hari. Babi hutan merupakan satwa yang paling banyak dimanfaatkan untuk diambil nilai ekonominya karena satwa ini sangat diminati dagingnya untuk dikonsumsi masyarakat dan digunakan untuk keperluan adat.
       
      Danau Sentarum National Park has a high diversity of wildlife. This study aims to identify and descriribe wild animals that are used, forms and methods of catching wild animals, hunting wild animals, processing of wild animals, and the economic value of wild animals for the people of DSNP. Data collection was carried out in Pulau Majang Village and Tinting Seligi Village, Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan. Sampling was carried out using the snowball sampling method. Data collection was carried out using field observation methods (observations), interviews and literature studies and data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis methods. The results of this study found that the Majang Island community utilized 7 species of wild animals (1,3%) while the Tinting Seligi community utilized 13 species of wild animals (2,41%) of all mammals, birds and herpetofauna in the DSNP. The people of Tinting Seligi and Pulau Majang villages catch wild animals individually and in groups of 3-7 people. The community catches wild animals during the day and night. Wild boar is the most widely used animal for its economic value because this animal is in great demand for its meat to be consumed by the community and used for customary purposes.
