Hubungan antara Kecepatan Pemerahan dengan Produksi Susu Sapi Perah Di Peternakan Rahmawati Jaya Pengadegan Jakarta Selatan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the correlation between milking speed and average milk yield. This research were conducted at Rahmawati Jaya dairy farm in Pengadegan, South Jakarta. The data consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data consisted of total milking time, total milk yield, milking speed and average milk yield. Milking speed calculated as total milk yield divided by total milk time. Milk yield were measure using balance for 80 times of morning and afternoon milking. Data was analyzed using linear regression and correlation value. Linear regression of milk yield (Y) (Kg) on milking speed (X) (Kg/minute) for morning and and afternoon milkings were Y = 1.37. X0.586 (r = 0.99) and Y = 1.02.X0.574 (r = 0.99), respectively. It shows that there is a positive correlation between milking speed and milk yield. Increasing in milking speed will be followed by increasing milk yield.
