Perilaku Menonton Dan Persepsi Mahasiswa Terhadap Program Jelajah Di Trans Tv
Abstract
The objectives of this study were to analyze the correlation between characteristics of audience and behavior while watching Jelajah, to analyze the correlation between characteristics of audience and audience’s perceptions, and to analyze the correlation between behavior while watching Jelajah and audience’s perceptions. This research was conducted at IPB campuss, Dramaga, Bogor, Indonesia. using survey sampling on 68 students of IPB. The respondents were selected using a Stratified Random Sampling method. Data were collected and analyzed using Chi Square’s Test and Spearman’s Test. The results of this research showed that there were significant correlation between characteristics of audience and behavior while watching Jelajah. That correlation were significant between ages with durations of watching Jelajah, gender with the way of watching, semester with the way of watching and durations, know first about Jelajah with motivation source to watch, the way of watching, and location. Perceptions of respondents about Jelajah were good, and there were significant correlation between perceptions with characteristics of audience, e.g correlation between gender with theme, correlation between father’s job with show time, correlation mother’s job with theme, correlation social-economic with object, correlation pocket money with object, and correlation know first about Jelajah with packaging design of Jelajah. There were significant correlation between all aspects of behavior while watching Jelajah with some of aspects of audience perceptions.
