      Abstract
Berdasarkan uji probit, sebagian besar ekstrak A. lavenia menunjukkan sifat toksik (LC50 < 1.000 ppm), kombinasi 25% naungan dan 600 ppm menghasilkan LC50 terkecil sebesar 431,96± 27,83 ppm

Efforts to cultivate medicinal plants, especially Adenostemma lavenia can be made by hydroponic methods. Hydroponics was chosen because it can engineer environmental conditions like shade and nutrient concentration. Shade is related to the intensity of sunlight and affects photosynthesis, while plants need nutrients to support growth and development. The purpose of this study was to obtain a combination of shade treatment and optimal nutrient concentration to produce the highest terpenoid productivity and toxicity from hydroponically cultivated A. lavenia. Terpenoid levels are determined based on UV-Vis spectrophotometry and toxicity tests using the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test method. The results showed that the combination of 25% shade and 1,000 ppm of nutrients resulted in the highest terpenoid productivity of 11,21±1,25 mg Nerol Equivalent (NE)/plant. Based on probit assays, most A. lavenia extracts exhibit toxic properties (LC50 < 1.000 ppm), a combination of 25% shade and 600 ppm produced the smallest LC50 of 431,96± 27,83 ppm
