      Abstract
      Tanaman stevia (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni) merupakan tanaman perdu-perduan yang dikenal sebagai tanaman manis yang dapat menggantikan gula tebu. Tanaman ini dikategorikan sebagai tanaman hari pendek yang dapat dipanen dalam waktu 40-60 HST. Pupuk kompos pada dasarnya merupakan pupuk organik yang dibuat dengan memanfaatkan proses pelapukan dari interaksi mikroorganisme dan bakteri pembusuk. Salah satu serasah yang dapat dimanfaatkan diantaranya adalah serasah gamal, kaliandra dan lamtoro. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh ketiga kompos tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman stevia. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor dan empat perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk kompos berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel yang diamati diantaranya tinggi, diameter, jumlah daun, berat basah dan biomassa tanaman. Pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman stevia tertinggi dihasilkan oleh tanaman stevia pada perlakuan P3 (kompos lamtoro), sedangkan hasil terendah dihasilkan pada perlakuan P0 (kontrol).
       
      The stevia plant (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni) is a herbaceous plant known as a sweet plant that can replace cane sugar. This plant is included as a shortday crop that can be harvested within 40-60 DAP. Compost is basically an organic fertilizer that is made by utilizing the weathering process from the interaction of microorganisms and decomposing bacteria. One of the litters that can be utilized include gamal, calliandra and lamtoro litter. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the three composts on the growth and productivity of the stevia plant. The data analysis method used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor and four treatments. The results showed that compost had a significant effect on all observed variables including height, diameter, number of leaves, fresh weight and plant biomass. The highest growth and productivity of stevia plants were produced by stevia plants in treatment P3 (lamtoro compost), while the lowest yields were produced in treatment P0 (control).
