      Variabel Pembeda Ukuran Permukaan Tubuh Linear Ayam IPB-D1, IPB-D2, dan IPB-D3 berdasarkan Analisis Diskriminan

      Abstract
      Ayam IPB-D2 dan IPB-D3 merupakan hasil seleksi IPB-D1 berdasarkan ketahanan penyakit dan bobot badan cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan variabel pembeda ukuran permukaan tubuh linear ayam IPB-D1, IPB-D2, dan IPBD3. Pengukuran permukaan tubuh linear terdiri atas panjang femur (X1), panjang tibia (X2), panjang tarsometatarsus (X3), lingkar tarsometatarsus (X4), panjang jari ketiga (X5), panjang sayap (X6), panjang maxilla (X7), dan tinggi jengger (X8). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisis diskriminan dan kriteria Wald-Anderson. Variabel pembeda ayam IPB-D1 jantan vs IPB-D2 jantan adalah X1, X3, X4, X6, dan X8, serta IPB-D1 jantan vs IPB-D3 jantan adalah X1, X3, X4, X6, dan X7. Persamaan diskriminan ayam IPB-D1 jantan vs IPB-D2 jantan adalah Ŷ=−0,08X1+0,09X3−0,27X4−0,03X6−0,06X8, serta IPB-D1 jantan dan IPB-D3 jantan adalah Ŷ=−0,03X1+0,14X3−0,35X4−0,02X6−0,44X7. Klasifikasi data individu ayam IPB-D1 jantan vs IPB-D2 jantan menunjukkan tidak tepat sebanyak 14 ekor IPB-D1 dan 6 ekor IPB-D2, sedangkan ayam IPB-D1 jantan vs IPB-D3 jantan menunjukkan sebanyak 16 ekor IPB-D1 dan 5 ekor IPB-D3.
       
      IPB-D2 and IPB-D3 chickens are the result of IPB-D1 selection based on disease resistance and fast body weight. This study aims to determine the variables that distinguish the size of the linear body surface of IPB-D1, IPB-D2, and IPB-D3 chickens. Linear body surface measurements consisted of femur length (X1), tibia length (X2), tarsometatarsus length (X3), tarsometatarsus circumference (X4), third finger length (X5), wing length (X6), maxilla length (X7), and comb height (X8). This research method uses discriminant analysis and Wald-Anderson criteria. Variables distinguishing IPB-D1 male vs IPB-D2 male are X1, X3, X4, X6, and X8, and IPB-D1 male vs IPB-D3 male are X1, X3, X4, X6, and X7. The discriminant equation of IPB-D1 male vs IPB-D2 male is Ŷ=−0,08X1+0,09X3−0,27X4−0,03X6−0,06X8, IPB-D1 male vs IPB-D3 male is Ŷ=−0,03X1+0,14X3−0,35X4−0,02X6−0,44X7. Data classification of individual IPB-D1 male vs IPB-D2 male showed 14 chickens of IPB-D1 and 6 chickens of IPB-D2 inaccurate, while IPB-D1 male vs IPB-D3 male showed 16 chickens of IPB-D1 and 5 chickens of IPB-D3.
