The development of mangrove ecotourism is a way to support environmental conservation and increase community participation in supporting environmental sustainability in order to maintain the integrity, authenticity, uniqueness and sustainability of an ecosystem. This study aims to analyze the suitability of mangrove ecosystems for ecotourism, calculate the carrying capacity of the area, and formulate a strategy for developing ecotourism in the Mangrove Protected Angke Kapuk Ecotourism, North Jakarta. The research method used is survey/field observation. Mangrove density sampling was taken using a multiple sample plot method which was carried out by representative purposive sampling. Several facilities are available and can be developed for activities such as mangrove tracking, relaxing sitting areas, and fishing. The strategy for managing the Angke Protected Mangrove ecotourism area is in the fairly good category, so it is necessary to maximize the ecotourism development strategy by prioritizing three main strategic alternatives.
