Persepsi Mahasiswa Fakultas Kehutanan dan Lingkungan IPB: Pengaruh Pandemi Covid-19 pada Bisnis Kehutanan
Abstract
Munculnya situasi pandemi yang datang secara tiba-tiba akibat virus Covid-19 memberikan dampak serius di Indonesia bahkan dunia. Penularan virus Covid-19 yang sangat cepat melalui udara, air dan sentuhan menyebabkan terganggunya mobilitas kerja masyarakat dan mengganggu pergerakan roda ekonomi. Salah satu sektor perekonomian yang terkena imbas pandemi Covid-19 adalah bisnis kehutanan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pandangan kalangan mahasiswa kehutanan IPB mengenai arah bisnis kehutanan setelah pandemi Covid-19. Pandangan mahasiswa digali dengan kuesioner yang terbagi menjadi 5 bagian yaitu kinerja industri kehutanan Indonesia berdasar kategori bentuk/jenis komoditas, titik berat industri kehutanan Indonesia dari jenis kategori hulu vs. hilir, perlindungan bagi para pekerja kehutanan, strategi untuk mempertahankan/meningkatkan kinerja sektor kehutanan di tingkat global, dan pandangan personal terhadap masa depan. The emergence of a pandemic situation that came suddenly due to the Covid-19 virus had a serious impact on Indonesia and even the world. The rapid transmission of the Covid-19 virus through air, water, and touch has disrupted people's work mobility and disrupted the movement of the economy. One of the economic sectors affected by the Covid-19 pandemic is the forestry business. The purpose of this study was to identify the views of IPB forestry students regarding the direction of the forestry business after the presence of the Covid-19 pandemic. Student views were explored with a questionnaire which was divided into 5 parts, namely the performance of the Indonesian forestry industry based on the category of form/type of commodity, the focus of the Indonesian forestry industry on type upstream category vs. downstream, protection for forestry workers, strategies to maintain/improve the performance of the forestry sector at the global level, and a personal view of the future.
