      Abstract
      MUHAMMAD REINALDO ASRAF MAHENDRA. Budi Daya Jamur Tiram Putih menggunakan Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit dan Serbuk Gergaji Sengon serta Tambahan Aktivator. Dibimbing oleh ELIS NINA HERLIYANA dan SUMINAR SETIATI ACHMADI. Limbah kayu dan tandan kosong kelapa sawit (TKKS) belum dimanfaatkan sepenuhnya oleh masyarakat. Limbah kayu serta TKKS yang terbuang dari kegiatan eksploitasi sangat banyak, tetapi produktivitas dari hasil hutan semakin menurun setiap tahunnya. Budi daya jamur dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengurangi kuantitas limbah kayu maupun TKKS. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh komposisi terbaik antara TKKS dan serbuk gergaji kayu sengon untuk menumbuhkan jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus), mengevaluasi pengaruh tambahan aktivator pada pertumbuhan jamur, dan efisiensi biologi dari jamur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan 100% TKKS dan tambahan aktivator 0% memberikan hasil terbaik dalam produktivitas jamur. Tambahan aktivator berpengaruh nyata pada pertumbuhan miselium, dan jenis media berpengaruh sangat nyata pada fase generatif jamur.
       
      MUHAMMAD REINALDO ASRAF MAHENDRA. Cultivation of White Oyster Mushrooms Using Empty Palm Oil Bunches and Sengon Sawdust and Adding Activators. Supervised by ELIS NINA HERLIYANA and SUMINAR SETIATI ACHMADI. Wood waste and oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) have yet to be fully utilized by the community. Wood waste and OPEFB wasted from exploitation activities are enormous, but the productivity of forest products is decreasing every year. Mushroom cultivation can be one of the solutions to reduce the quantity of wood waste and OPEFB. This study aims to obtain the best composition between OPEFB and sengon sawdust to grow white oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus), to evaluate the effect of additional activators on mushroom growth, and the biological efficiency of mushrooms. The results showed that the treatment of 100% OPEFB and 0% additional activator gave the best results in mushroom productivity. Furthermore, the additional activator had a significant effect on mycelium growth, and the type of media significantly affected the mushroom's generative phase.
