      Ketahanan Kayu Maesopsis eminii Termodifikasi Asam Borat, Minyak Nabati dan Pemanasan dari Jamur Pelapuk (Schizophyllum commune)

      Abstract
      Kayu Maesopsis eminii merupakan jenis cepat tumbuh termasuk kelas awet rendah (III-1V) sehingga diperlukan proses pengawetan untuk memperpanjang umur pakainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi ketahanan kayu M. eminii termodifikasi asam borat, minyak nabati dan pemanasan dari jamur Schizophyllum commune. Impregnasi kayu bertingkat dengan tekanan 7 kg.cm-2 selama 4 jam menggunakan asam borat 5% pada impregnasi awal, dan minyak mimba, minyak nyamplung, dan minyak kemiri pada impregnasi lanjutan. Perlakuan pemanasan menggunakan suhu 70 ⁰C dan 140 ⁰C selama 4 jam. Pengujian ketahanan kayu terhadap jamur pelapuk mengunakan S. commune berdasarkan SNI 7207:2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi perlakuan asam borat dengan minyak dan interaksi asam borat dengar suhu yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap ketahanan kayu M. eminii dari jamur S. commune. Perlakuan yang paling baik meningkatkan ketahanan kayu M. eminii dari jamur pelapuk adalah impregnasi bertingkat asam borat dengan minyak kemiri disertai pemanasan 140 ⁰C
       
      Maesopsis eminii wood is a fast growing species, that has low durability class (III-1V), so a preservative process is needed to extend its service life. This study aimed to assess the resistance of modified M. eminii wood modified with boric acid, vegetable oil, and heating against Schizophyllum commune fungi. Double impregnation with a pressure of 7 kg.cm-2 for 4 hours using 5% boric acid for initial impregnation, and neem oil, tamanu oil, and candlenut oil for subsequent impregnation. Heating treatment used a temperature of 70 ⁰C and 140 ⁰C for 4 hours. Testing the resistance of wood decay used S. commune based on SNI 7207:2014. The results showed that there were an significant interaction effects between boric acid and oil treatments as well as boric acid and heating temperatures on the resistance of M. eminii wood against S. commune fungus. The best resistance of M. eminii wood against fungi was achieved by impregnation with boric acid and candlenut oil followed by heating at 140 ⁰C.
