Analisis Relasi Gender Dan Keberhasilan Organisasi Koperasi Warga (Kowar) Smp Negeri 7 Bekasi

Abstract

The research purposes were to know about gender relation of KOWAR as a cooperative organization; and also looking for relationship between respondent characteristics, gender role socializations of family’s respondent, and achievement of KOWAR with gender relation of KOWAR. Gender relation of KOWAR was determined by sex segregation of occupations, access, and control between man and woman to get benefits and resources from KOWAR. The research method was quantitative research and sampling method was simple random sampling. Result shows that KOWAR have an equality of gender relation. An equality of gender relation was the conclusion from an equality in sex segregation of occupation, low access of man and woman to get benefits and resources, and high control of man and woman to get benefits and resources from KOWAR. The characteristic of respondent was determined by age, level education, kind of occupation, and marriage status of the respondent. Level education of the respondent was related with gender equality of KOWAR. But, age, kind of education, and marriage status of the respondent was not related with gender relation of KOWAR. Gender role socialization of the respondent was related with gender relation of KOWAR. Achievement of KOWAR was related to gender relation of KOWAR.
