Identifikasi Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Ketepatan Waktu Lulus Mahasiswa FMIPA IPB Angkatan 2017

Abstract

Tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa tepat waktu menjadi salah satu kriteria penilaian akreditasi bagi suatu perguruan tinggi atau program studi, semakin banyak mahasiswa yang lulus tepat waktu maka semakin baik pula kinerjanya. Akan tetapi, berdasarkan data lulusan dari DAPPMB IPB, hanya sekitar 37,46% mahasiswa FMIPA angkatan 2016 yang dapat menyelesaikan studi tepat waktu. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berasal dari DAPPMB IPB. Faktor- faktor yang diduga dapat mempengaruhi ketepatan waktu lulus diantaranya adalah jenis kelamin, asal daerah, minor, program studi, jalur masuk, IPK terakhir, dan kestabilan prestasi. Untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kelulusan mahasiswa digunakan analisis regresi logistik biner menggunakan regresi stepwise dan 10-fold cross validation. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi ketepatan waktu lulus mahasiswa FMIPA IPB angkatan 2017 adalah program studi, minor, IPK terakhir, dan kestabilan prestasi. Model regresi logistik biner yang diperoleh menghasilkan nilai akurasi sebesar 66,75%, sensitivitas 32,65%, spesifisitas 90,69%, dan AUC sebesar 0,75.

The graduation timeliness rate of student is one of the criteria for accreditation assessment for a university or study program, the more students who graduate on time, the more better the performance. However, based on graduate’s data from DAPPMB IPB, only around 37.46% of FMIPA students, class of 2016, that can complete their studies on time. The data used in this research is from DAPPMB IPB. Factors that are suspected affect the timeliness of graduation include gender, regional origin, minor, study program, entrance pathway, the last GPA, and the stability of achievement. Binary logistic regression with stepwise regression and 10-fold cross validation was used to analyze factors that affecting student graduation. Based on this research, factors that affect the timeliness of graduation in FMIPA IPB class of 2017 student are study program, minor, the last GPA, and the stability of achievement. The binary logistic regression modeling results show that the accuracy value is 66,75%, sensitivity 32,65%, specificity 90,69%, and an AUC 0,75.
