      Strategi Bersaing Perusahaan Pengolah Rumput Laut di Sulawesi Selatan ( Studi Kasus : PT Bantimurung Indah)

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh berkembangnya industri hilir rumput laut produk karagenan di Sulawesi Selatan dengan karakteristik segmen pasar yang relatif sama dengan PT Bantimurung Indah sehingga menyebabkan persaingan yang ketat. Oleh karena itu diperlukan strategi bersaing agar perusahaan mampu bertahan dan bersaing dengan pelaku usaha lain. Dalam merumuskan strategi bersaing analisis yang digunakan yaitu rantai nilai Porter, five force Porter, business model canvas, matriks SWOT dan strategi generik Porter. Hasil analisis menunjukkan strategi bersaing PT Bantimurung Indah dengan mereformulasi business model canvas dengan menggunakan matriks SWOT yang menghasilkan empat strategi yaitu SO diprioritaskan untuk meningkatkan key aktivitas, key resource yaitu modal dan revenue streams, untuk strategi ST digunakan untuk meningkatkan key partnership, strategi WO yang berfokus untuk peningkatkan aktivitas pemasaran, dan customer segment, strategi WT yang berfokus untuk peningkatan value proposition, dan key activities. Strategi bersaing yang dapat diterapkan PT Bantimurung Indah adalah strategi diferensiasi. Strategi diferensiasi yang dapat dilakukan yaitu meningkatkan aktivitas pemasaran, menjaga nilai perusahaan, melakukan evaluasi produk, dan menjaga kualitas bahan baku.
       
      This research was motivated by the development of the downstream carrageenan seaweed industry in South Sulawesi with relatively similar market segment characteristics to PT Bantimurung Indah, causing intense competition. Therefore, a strategy is needed to increase the competitiveness of PT Bantimurung Indah. The analysis used is Porter's value chain, Porter's five force, Business Model Canvas, SWOT matrix and Porter's generic strategy. The analysis results show that strategy to increase competitiveness PT Bantimurung Indah with reformulatingbusiness model canvas using a SWOT matrix that produces four strategies, namely SO prioritized to increase key activities, key resources namely capital and revenue streams, ST strategy is used to increase key partnerships, WO strategy that focuses on increasing marketing activities, and customer segment, strategy WT which focuses on increasing the value proposition and key activities. The competitive strategy that can be applied by PT Bantimurung Indah is a differentiation strategy. Differentiation strategies that can be carried out are increasing marketing activities, maintaining company value, evaluating products, and maintaining the quality of raw materials.
