Pengaruh Jumlah Rumpun Padi Dalam Satu Ruang Tumbuh Terhadap Evapotranspirasi, Efisiensi Pemakaian Air, Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Padi (Oryza Sativa L.).
Abstract
Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a food crop that has become one of the staple foods for the world's population. One of the efforts to increase rice production is by adjusting the spacing. The new spacing system that wants to be developed in this research is the SARUME system (one growing space crowded together) namely SR1 (one growing space for one hill), SR2 (one growing space for two hills) and so on so that the optimum number of hills in one growing space is obtained. in the use of space for plant growth. This study aims to determine the effect of the number of rice hills in one growing room on the production and growth of lowland rice. In addition, to obtain the coefficient of plant evapotranspiration that can be used in calculating plant water needs in real time. This study was structured using a completely randomized block design (RCBD) with three replications. The treatment used was the number of rice hills consisting of 1 hill, 2 hills, 3 hills and 4 hills. The results showed that the treatment with the number of hills had a significant effect on total evapotranspiration, which was indicated by the treatment of three and four hills resulting in higher total evapotranspiration compared to other treatments and had no significant effect on the efficiency of water use. The regulation of the number of hills in one growing room had a significant effect on the number of tillers and the number of productive tillers of rice which could increase up to 187.67 and 53,70 % compared to the one-hill treatment and had no significant effect on the yield of rice plants, but the potential yields obtained in the treatment three hills are classified as high, reaching 7,65 tons ha-1. The correlation between the number of tillers in each growing space and evapotranspiration was represented by a quadratic trend line and the correlation between the number of tillers and the evapotranspiration coefficient was represented by an exponential trend line with a higher determinant value than the other trend lines.
