Kajian Kelestarian Tegakan Dan Produksi Kayu Jati Jangka Panjang Kph Bojonegoro Perum Perhutani Unit Ii Jawa Timur
Abstract
KPH Bojonegoro is classified as teak company based on wood type and as clear cutting company based on cutting type. The regional of KPH Bojonegoro is broadly 50.145,4 ha has the cycle 60 years and minimum cutting time 50 years. In practicing sustainable forest management, Perum Perhutani referred to Director General's Instruction Forestry No. 143/Kpts/Dj/I/1974 that appointed the method of the results regulation based on the combination method of the area and the wood mass. Based on the instruction each year the crop was considered succeeded in growing and the potential for the stand of each age class was continued without counting on the disturbance factor of the forest. The concept of sustainability which is described as normal forest is hard to reach, but can be reached within a certain time. This research was held on August 2008 at KPH Bojonegoro Perum Perhutani Unit II East Java. Secondary datas are used in this research. It is aimed to study the sustainability of the stand and teak product at KPH Bojonegoro through several conditions for the level of the disturbance of the forest. Based on the structure of forest class from 1975 until 2007 could be predicted the sustainability and the disturbance of forest class of KPH Bojonegoro. For projection need at some of forest disturbance grade can be decided the average value of sustainability and disturbance grade that is shown by normal, optimism, and pessimist condition. The potential of productive forest in optimism and normal condition increase that is shown by plant average age getting increase and its distribution begin to spread everywhere, so that in optimism and normal condition the sustainability of stand can be reached. Meanwhile in pessimist condition, the sustainability of stand is unable to reached because the potential of productive forest is getting decrease in every period of time. The sustainability of product for some periods forward can be reached because the product of A2 cutting is getting increase in optimism and normal condition, whereas in pessimist condition the sustainability of product can not be reached because the product of A2 cutting is getting decrease. The result of this research shows that KPH Bojonegoro can reach the sustainability of stand and teak product in optimism and normal condition. When KPH Bojonegoro is on the pessimist condition, it needs to press the disturbance until become optimism or normal condition. Keywords : sustainability of teak stand, sustainability of teak product
