      Estimasi Biomassa, Simpanan Karbon dan Serapan CO2 pada Berbagai Kelas Umur Tegakan Jati di RPH Wungu, KPH Madiun

      Abstract
      Isu pemanasan global yang saat ini terjadi menjadi pemicu diperlukannya informasi mengenai karbon. Salah satu faktor yang dapat menurunkan akumulasi karbon dioksida di atmosfer adalah penyerapan oleh vegetasi. Hutan melalui fotosintesis mengabsorbsi karbon dioksida dan menyimpannya sebagai materi organik dalam bentuk biomassa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menduga biomassa, simpanan karbon, serapan karbon dioksida (CO2) dan produksi oksigen (O2) pada berbagai kelas umur tegakan jati (Tectona grandis) di RPH Wungu, KPH Madiun. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data, menggunakan stratified sampling dengan plot lingkaran berukuran 0,1 ha sebanyak 57 plot. Analisis data pendugaan biomassa menggunakan persamaan alometrik. Biomassa, simpanan karbon, serapan karbon dioksida (CO2) dan produksi oksigen diperoleh dari konversi nilai biomassa. Hasil pendugaan rata-rata biomassa, simpanan karbon, serapan karbon dioksida dan produksi oksigen (O2) pada tegakan jati di RPH Wungu, KPH Madiun secara berurutan adalah 238,60 ton/ha; 112,14 ton/ha; 411,19 ton/ha dan 299,04 ton/ha.
       
      The issue of global warming that is currently happening is the trigger for the need for information on carbon. One of the factors that can reduce the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is absorption by vegetation. Forests through photosynthesis absorb carbon dioxide and store it as organic matter in the form of biomass. The study aims to estimate for biomass, carbon stock, carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption and oxygen (O2) production in various age classes of teak stands (Tectona grandis) in RPH Wungu, KPH Madiun. The method used in data collection, using stratified sampling with circular plots measuring 0,1 ha as many as 57 plots. Analysis of biomass estimation data using allometric equations. Biomass, carbon storage, carbon dioxide absorption and oxygen production were obtained from the conversion of biomass values. The results of the estimation for biomass, carbon storage, carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption and oxygen (O2) production in teak stands in RPH Wungu, KPH Madiun, respectively, were 238,60 tons/ha; 112,14 tons/ha; 411,19 tons/ha and 299,04 tons/ha.
