      Biosintesis Nanopartikel Perak Menggunakan Ekstrak Ulva lactuca dengan Bantuan Ultrasonikasi

      Abstract
      Rumput laut Ulva lactuca banyak tersebar di perairan Indonesia dan mengandung polisakarida ulvan dan metabolit sekunder. Komponen tersebut memiliki aktivitas antioksidan sehingga berpotensi sebagai agen biosintesis nanopartikel perak yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan ekstrak kasar U. lactuca dan menentukan konsentrasi ekstrak kasar U. lactuca dan durasi ultrasonikasi terpilih untuk sintesis nanopartikel. Biosintesis perak nanopartikel dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yaitu 1) biosintesis dengan konsentrasi ekstrak kasar U. lactuca yang berbeda dan 2) biosintesis menggunakan konsentrasi ekstrak terpilih dengan bantuan ultrasonikasi pada durasi berbeda. Konsentrasi ekstrak kasar U. lactuca memberikan pengaruh terhadap proses biosintesis perak nanopartikel. Penggunaan konsentasi ekstrak kasar 10% (v/v) menghasilkan intensitas tinggi gelombang tertinggi (0,038 a.u.). Durasi ultrasonikasi yang terpilih untuk biosintesis perak nanopartikel adalah 60 menit karena menghasilkan ukuran partikel terkecil (267,4±6,52 nm) dan homogen (PdI 0,265±0,05) dengan intensitas tinggi gelombang tertinggi (0,127 a.u). Nanopartikel perak yang diamati dengan SEM-EDX memiliki bentuk oval.
       
      Ulva lactuca seaweed is widely distributed in Indonesian marines and contains ulvan polysaccharides and secondary metabolites. This component has antioxidant activity so that it has the potential as an environmentally friendly biosynthesis agent for silver nanoparticles. This study aims to obtain crude extract of U. lactuca and determine the concentration of crude extract of U. lactuca and selected ultrasonication time for the synthesis of nanoparticles. The biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles was carried out in two stages, 1) biosynthesis with different concentrations of crude extract of U. lactuca and 2) biosynthesis using selected extract concentrations with ultrasonic-assisted synthesis at different durations. The concentration of U. lactuca crude extract has an effect on the synthesis of silver nanoparticles. The use of 10% (v/v) crude extract concentration resulted in the highest wave intensity (0,038 a.u.) The selected ultrasonication duration for silver nanoparticles synthesis was 60 minutes, resulted smallest particle size (267,4± 6,52 nm) and homogeneous (PdI 0,265±0,05) with the highest wave intensity (0,127 a.u). Oval-shaped silver nano structures were observed with SEM-EDX image.
