Analysis of Climatic Factors on The Spread of Brown Stem Planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stal) Rice Plants in Cianjur Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh faktor iklim terhadap penyebaran hama wereng batang coklat (Nilaparvata lugens Stal) pada tanaman padi di Kabupaten Cianjur menggunakan Climex 4.0. Model Climex 4.0 dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis penyebaran hama wereng batang coklat terhadap pengaruh faktor iklim. Pertumbuhan hama wereng batang coklat dapat dipresentasikan menggunakan Indeks Ekoklimatik (EI). EI dihasilkan dari compare location dan compare years untuk membandingkan tingkat kesesuaian hama wereng batang coklat. Tahun 2008-2017 terjadi periode yang sesuai untuk perkembangan hama wereng batang coklat. Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan hama wereng batang coklat (Nilaparvata lugens Stal) sangat sesuai dengan karakteristik iklim di wilayah Kabupaten Cianjur. Adapun nilai indeks ekoklimatik yang diperoleh di Kabupaten Cianjur sebesar 67, hal tersebut menunujukkan bahwa potensi hama wereng batang coklat dapat hidup dan berkembang dengan baik. Tahun 2011 merupakan nilai indeks ekoklimatik tertinggi sebesar 79 dan tahun 2013 merupakan nilai indeks ekoklimatik paling rendah di Cianjur yaitu sebesar 56. Faktor iklim yang sangat mempengaruhi serangan hama wereng batang coklat adalah curah hujan.

This study aims to analyze the effect of climatic factors on the spread of the brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stal) on rice plants in Cianjur Regency using Climex 4.0. The Climex 4.0 model can be used to analyze the spread of the brown plant hopper against the influence of climatic factors. The growth of the brown planthopper can be represented using the Ecoclimatic Index (EI). EI is generated from compare location and compare years to compare the suitability of brown planthopper pests. The year 2008-2017 was an appropriate period for the development of the brown planthopper. The growth and development of the brown plant hopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stal) is in accordance with the climatic characteristics of the Cianjur Regency. The ecoclimatic index value obtained in Cianjur Regency is 67, it shows that the potential for brown planthopper pests can live and develop well. The year 2011 was the highest ecoclimatic index value of 79 and 2013 was the lowest ecoclimatic index value in Cianjur, which was 56. Climatic factors that greatly affect the attack of brown planthopper pests are rainfall.
