Analisis Permintaan Dan Penawaran Domestik Daging Sapi Indonesia Skripsi

Abstract

The aims of this research were: 1) to know the factors that determine beef demand in Indonesia 2) to know the factors that determine beef supply in Indonesia 3) to know beef demand and supply elasticity in Indonesia. The time series data in the periods for 15 years of 1990-2005 was used for this research from Badan Pusat Statistic. A dynamic model of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method was used to analyze the data using Microsoft excel 2003 and Eview 4.1. The factors that determine beef demand and supply describe by quantitative description. This research held on June until September 2008. This research resulted several outputs: 1) Beef demand can be explained by its free variable which is beef domestic price, fish price, income per capita, and human population with each coefficient value – 4.4, 4.9, 36.4, and 1.8 and do not have problem with econometric test, statistic test, and economic test, 2) Beef supply can be explained by beef domestic price, domestic beef production, cattle price, and domestic cattle population with each coefficient value 2.8, 0.9, - 8.7, 0.04 and do not have problem with econometric test, statistic test, and economic test Key words : demand, supply, beef, elasticity
