      Pendugaan Parameter Demografi, Gangguan, dan Upaya Penangkapan Monyet Ekor Panjang di Kampus IPB Dramaga

      Abstract
      Keberadaan monyet ekor panjang yang semakin berdekatan dengan ruang lingkup aktivitas manusia seperti di Kampus IPB Dramaga Bogor menimbulkan gangguan terhadap kegiatan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menduga parameter demografi, mengidentifikasi gangguan, dan menganalisis efektvitas kandang jebakan monyet ekor panjang di Kampus IPB Dramaga. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode observasi lapang, penyebaran kuisioner, dan pemasangan kandang jebakan untuk penangkapan monyet ekor panjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 3 kelompok monyet ekor panjang yang menempati Kampus IPB Dramaga (Kawasan Hutan Al-Hurriyah, Asrama Putra C4, dan Arboretum Bambu) dengan jumlah total populasi sebanyak 53 individu. Struktur populasi monyet ekor panjang menunjukkan kondisi yang menurun dan jumlah individu jantan lebih sedikit (18 ekor) dibandingkan dengan individu betina (20 ekor). Gangguan monyet ekor panjang yang paling banyak yaitu mencuri barang/ makanan, diikuti dengan merusak properti dan menyerang orang. Penggunaan kandang jebakan kelompok pintu atas dan pintu depan tidak efektif menangkap monyet ekor panjang sebagai upaya mengatasi gangguannya di Kampus IPB Dramaga.
       
      The existence of long-tailed macaques whose distribution is close to human community, such as Kampus IPB Dramaga, causes disturbance to human activities. This study aims to estimate the demographic parameters, identify disturbances, and analyze the effectiveness of the long-tailed macaques trap cage at the Kampus IPB Dramaga. The research was conducted by field observations and distributing questionnaires. The results showed that there were three groups of long-tailed macaques that occupy Kampus IPB Dramaga (Hutan Al-Hurriyah, Asrama Putra C4, and Arboretum Bambu area) with a total of 53 individuals. The population structure of the long-tailed macaques shows a regressive population and the number of male individuals (18 individuals) is less than female individuals (20 individuals). Disturbances that caused by long-tailed macaques were stealing goods/ food, property damaging, and attacking people. Group trap cages that were used to catch long-tailed macaques is not effective to use on Kampus IPB Dramaga as an effort to overcome their disturbances at Kampus IPB Dramaga.
