Respon Pertumbuhan Bibit Serai Wangi (Cymbopogon nardus (L.) Rendl.) terhadap Intensitas Naungan dan Pupuk NPK
Abstract
Citronella grass (Cymbopogon nardus) is a type of grass (Poaceae) that has the potential to be planted with forest trees as intercrops and conservation plants to reduce erosion and prevent landslides. Citronella plants cannot tolerate too much shade and need nutritional support to optimize their conservation function. The study was conducted to analyze the growth response of citronella plants to sahade intensity (0% and 53%) and NPK fertilizer (0 g/polybag and 1 g/polybag). The results showed that the shade intensity treatment did not have a significant effect on the growth parameters of citronella. The treatment of NPK fertilizer significantly affected the citronella height parameter.
