      Abstract
Kebutuhan jagung Indonesia terus meningkat seiring meningkatnya jumlah penduduk Indonesia.

Indonesia’s corn needs continue to increase along with increasing population of Indonesia. Indonesia’s corn productivity is still relatively low. In 2013, Indonesia’s corn needs are still fulfilled through imports of 3,19 million tons. Increasing corn production can be done through the use of marginal land by applying phosphorus fertilizer and lime, combined with water saturated cultivation technology. This study was aimed to examine the effect of p fertilization and liming to growth and corn production with transplanting system on saturated soil in tidal swap land. This research was accomplished in Karyabakti Village, Rantau Rasau District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province. It was arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) of two factors, namely phosphorus doses (0, 46, 92,and 138 kg ha-1), and lime doses (0 and 2 ton ha-1) with three replications. The result shows that phosphorus fertilization at doses of 138 kg ha-1 combined with lime at doses of 2 ton ha-1 actually gives the best results with the productivity of shelled corn reaching 7,30 ton ha-1
