      Pengujian Laboratoris Efikasi Pelet Kayu Tusam Berbahan Aktif Hexaflumuron 0,25% terhadap Rayap Tanah Coptotermes curvignathus

      Abstract
      Umpan rayap berbahan aktif hexaflumuron merupakan teknologi pengumpanan yang ramah lingkungan. Formulasi umpan menggunakan kayu tusam sebagai bahan tambahan. Kandungan resin kayu tusam mengurangi kesukaan rayap terhadap kayu tusam sehingga perlu dikurangi agar tingkat kesukaan rayap meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efikasi formulasi umpan pelet dari kayu tusam (Pinus merkusii) yang diberi perlakuan pendahuluan presto (0,4 bar, 100 °C) kemudian diberi bahan aktif hexaflumuron 0,25% terhadap rayap Coptotermes curvignathus. Serpihan kayu tusam di presto selama satu, dua, tiga, empat dan lima jam sebagai perlakuan kemudian dihaluskan (40-60 mesh) dan ditambah hexaflumuron (0,25%). Campuran dibentuk pelet lalu diumpankan terhadap rayap tanah C. curvignathus (JIS K 1571:2010). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketermakanan formulasi pelet berbahan aktif hexaflumuron (14,33%) lebih tinggi dibanding kayu tusam solid (6,58%). Formulasi umpan pelet berbahan aktif hexaflumuron 0,25% dengan perlakuan pendahuluan presto mampu mengeliminasi rayap tanah C. curvignathus.
       
      Termite bait with active ingredient hexaflumuron is an environmentally friendly baiting. The bait formulation used pine wood as an additive. The resin content in pine wood can reduce termites preference for pine wood so it needs to be reduced so that the level of termites preference can be increased. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of the bait formulation of pellets from pine wood (Pinus merkusii) which was pretreated with presto (0,4 bar, 100 °C) with 0,25% active ingredient hexaflumuron against termites Coptotermes curvignathus. The treated chips then made into sawdust (40-60 mesh) and added with hexaflumuron (0,25%) and formed into pellets then fed to the subterranean termites C. curvignathus (JIS K 1571:2010). The results showed that palatability of formulation pellet bait with active hexaflumuron (14.33%) was higher than solid pine wood (6,58%). The formulation of pellet bait with 0,25% active hexaflumuron with presto pre-treatment was able to eliminate the subterranean termite C. curvignathus.
