      Pemodelan spasial kesesuaian habitat aren (Arenga pinnata (Wurmb) Merr.) di Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak

      Abstract
      Aren (Arenga pinnata (Wurmb) Merr.) merupakan salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Arecaceae yang bermanfaat dan memiliki nilai ekonomi. Salah satu lokasi sebaran alami aren adalah Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak (TNGHS). Tujuan penelitian adalah menduga potensi populasi, sebaran spasial dan kesesuaian habitat aren di Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD), wawancara, dan observasi lapang. Analisis pemodelan spasial kesesuaian habitat aren di TNGHS dengan Principal Component Analysis (PCA) menggunakan lima variabel yaitu ketinggian, kemirinan lereng, NDVI, NDMI, dan jarak dari sungai. Kerapatan aren di kawasan TNGHS sebesar 8 individu pohon/ha. Berdasarkan sebaran spasial, aren banyak ditemukan pada area dengan kriteria ketinggian 500-830 mdpl, kemiringan lereng >40%, nilai NDVI antara 0,32 – 0,42, nilai NDMI >1, dan jarak dari sungai ≤200. Sebesar 55,63% kawasan TNGHS merupakan area dengan kesesuaian tinggi bagi habitat aren.
       
      Aren (Arenga pinnata (Wurmb) Merr.) is a species from the Arecaceae family that is useful and has economic value. One of natural distribution locations of aren is Gunung Halimun Salak National Park (GHSNP). The purpose of the research was to estimate the potency population, spatial distribution and suitability of aren habitat model in the GHSNP. The methods used in this research are Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interview, and field observations. Spatial modeling analysis for habitat suitability of aren in GHSNP with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) using five variables, namely elevation, slope, NDVI, NDMI, and distance from the river. The density of aren in the GHSNP area is 8 individual trees/ha. Based on spatial distribution, aren are mostly found in areas with criteria for an altitude of 500-830 mdpl, slope >40%, NDVI value between 0.32 – 0.42, NDMI value >1, and distance from the river ≤200 m. By 55.63% of the GHSNP area is an area with high suitability for aren habitat.
