      Pengaruh Dukungan Sosial dan Komunikasi Ibu-Anak terhadap Konsep Diri Remaja di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

      Abstract
      The Covid-19 pandemic presents new challenges for families and children, including teenagers. Teenager is one of the important phases to find the identity. The pandemic condition that make everything done in a limited way affect teenagers in forming their self-concept. This study aims to analyze the effect of social support and mother-child communication on teenager’s self-concept during the Covid-19 pandemic. Respondents in this study amounted 202 junior/senior high school teenagers who were undergoing distance learning and had complete parents. Sampling used voluntary sampling technique. The results shows that during the Covid-19 pandemic, boys tend to have a significantly higher self-concept than girls. Parent support, peer support, and teacher support has a significant positive correlation with mother-child communication and teenager’s self-concept; likewise, mother-child communication and teenager’s self-concept also has significantly positive correlation. Social support and mother-child communication consistently also have a significant positive influence on teenager’s self-concept from the regression model.
       
      Pandemi Covid-19 menghadirkan permasalahan baru bagi keluarga dan juga anak, termasuk anak remaja. Periode remaja merupakan salah satu fase penting dalam mencari identitas dirinya. Kondisi pandemi yang membuat segala sesuatu dilakukan secara terbatas tentu saja akan memengaruhi remaja dalam membentuk konsep dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan sosial dan komunikasi ibu-anak terhadap konsep diri remaja di masa pandemi Covid-19. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 202 remaja SMP/SMA yang sedang menjalani pembelajaran jarak jauh dan memiliki orang tua lengkap. Pengambilan contoh menggunakan teknik voluntary sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama pandemi Covid-19, remaja laki-laki cenderung memiliki konsep diri yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan remaja perempuan. Dukungan orang tua, teman, dan guru berhubungan positif signifikan dengan komunikasi ibu-anak dan konsep diri remaja; begitupun komunikasi ibu-anak dengan konsep diri remaja juga ditemukan berhubungan positif signifikan. Dukungan sosial dan komunikasi ibu-anak secara konsisten juga berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap konsep diri remaja dalam model regresi yang dihasilkan.
