      Abstract
      Perkembangan aplikasi IoT di masyarakat semakin meningkat dipicu oleh makin terjangkaunya internet. Kebutuhan untuk bisa mengontrol dan memonitor lingkungan fisik dari jarak jauh juga menjadi faktor semakin berkembangnya IoT. Data yang didapatkan dari perangkat IoT perlu disimpan ke dalam sebuah server data untuk ditampilkan dan dianalisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi database untuk data IoT menggunakan metode prototyping yang hanya berfokus pada bagian back-end. Arsitektur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah representational state transfer application programming interface (REST API) dan basis data relasional. Teknologi yang dipakai adalah framework Falcon dan PostgreSQL. Hasil penelitian ini berupa basis data dan API web untuk penyimpanan data IoT. API yang terdiri atas modul user dan administrator telah berhasil diuji menggunakan metode black box.
       
      The fast development of IoT in society triggered by the increasingly accessible internet in the community. The need to control and monitor the physical environment remotely is also becoming a factor from development of IoT. The data acquired from IoT tools need to be stored in a data server to be shown and analized. This research is done for making an IoT database storage application using a prototyping method that focuses on the back-end. The architecture used in this research is representational state transfer application programming interface (REST API) and relational database. The technology used is the Falcon framework and PostgreSQL. The result of this research is a database and API web for storing IoT data. All API from user and administrator module successfully tested using black box method.
