Analisis Kebutuhan Jumlah Forwarder terhadap Produksi Kayu pada Hutan Tanaman Industri di Kalimantan

Abstract

Forwarder adalah alat untuk menindahkan kayu dari tunggak ke Tempat Pengumpulan Kayu di lokasi pemanenan kayu pada Hutan Tanaman Industri di Kalimantan. Penelitian ini diperlukan dalam rangka menganalisis kebutuhan forwarder untuk pemanenan kayu. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis jumlah forwarder ideal yang dibutuhkan setiap perusahaan dan menganalisis hubungan antara jumlah forwarder terhadap realisasi produksi kayu. Metode penelitian menggunakan rumus kebutuhan jumlah alat dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jumlah alat aktual yang digunakan di setiap perusahaan saat ini tidak sesuai kebutuhan. Terdapat dua perusahaan yang kelebihan forwarder sampai tiga unit selain itu ada perusahaan yang kekurangan forwarder sebanyak 35 unit. Kelebihan sebanyak tiga unit diperkirakan karena metode perhitungan tidak memasukkan penambahan waktu lembur dan waktu kerja pada saat tidak terjadi hujan pada musim penghujan. Kelebihan jumlah alat yang sangat besar pada dua perusahaan lain diduga karena perusahan menggunakan alat sarad selain forwarder. Realisasi produksi kayu tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan jumlah alat.

Forwarder is a tool for moving wood from stumps to a Timber Collection Point in Industrial Plantation Forest in Kalimantan. Research is needed to analyze needs forwarders for timber harvesting. The purpose of this research is to analyze the number of ideal forwarders by each company and to analyze the relations between the number of forwarders and the realization of wood production. The research method uses formula for the number of tools and simple regression analysis. The results shows that the actual number of tools is currently not as needed. There are two companies that have excess forwarders up to three units, besides there are companies that lack of forwarders of 35 units. The excess of three units is estimated because the calculation method does not include additional overtime and working time when there is no rain in the rain season. The excess number of equipment in the other two companies is because the company uses another equipment besides forwarders. Realization of production does not have a significant relations with the number of tools.
