      Abstract

Measurement of vital signs in wild animals has greater constraints than livestock, therefore veterinary medical personnel need noninvasive and remote instruments for medical data acquisition. Infrared thermal camera can be the best solution for the problem. Infrared waves can be used to measure the body temperature of wildlife from a distance. This study aims to study the potential surface temperature of anoa (Bubalus depressicornis), as well as the effectiveness of infrared thermal cameras in morning and noon time. Thermal image data was collected at 08.00-09.00 and 12.00-13.00 (GMT+7) for five days. Thermal images were taken in five regions, namely eyes, snout, cheeks, thorax and abdomen. The results of the average surface temperature in the morning for five days are head ... dst
