      Pengaruh Interaksi Orang Tua-Anak dan Kecerdasan Emosi terhadap Kesiapan Kuliah Mahasiswa Tingkat Pertama

      Abstract
      Pendidikan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumberdaya manusia suatu negara. Kualitas sumberdaya manusia yang baik ini dapat diperoleh apabila siswa memiliki kesiapan kuliah yang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh interaksi orang tua-anak dan kecerdasan emosi terhadap kesiapan kuliah mahasiswa tingkat pertama. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan di antara variabel interaksi orang tua-anak, kecerdasan emosi, dan kesiapan kuliah mahasiswa tingkat pertama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode convenience sampling dengan pengisian survei secara online. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 309 mahasiswa tingkat pertama di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Uji hubungan menunjukkan interaksi orang tua-anak dan kecerdasan emosi memiliki hubungan positif signifikan dengan kesiapan kuliah mahasiswa tingkat pertama. Hasil uji pengaruh menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesiapan kuliah mahasiswa tingkat pertama, namun interaksi orang tua-anak memiliki pengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap kesiapan kuliah mahasiswa tingkat pertama.
       
      Education is one of the important aspects in improving the quality of national human resources. This good quality of human resources can be obtained if students have good college readiness. This study aimed to identify the influence of parent-child interaction and emotional intelligence on college readiness among first-year college student. This study also analyzed the relationship between parent-child interaction, emotional intelligence, and college readiness among first-year college student variables. The research method used was convenience sampling using online survey. The total sample of this research was 309 first-year college students in Indonesia. Correlation analyses showed that parent-child interaction and emotional intelligence were significantly correlated with college readiness. Regression analyses found that emotional intelligence significantly linked to college readiness among first-year college student but parent-child interaction was not significantly related to college readiness among first-year college student.
