Pamijahan subdistrict is one of the largest rice producers in Bogor Regency. The condition of farmers in Pamijahan subdistrict in recent years has slowed down in terms of regeneration. If the interest of younger generation in agriculture is reduced then it can have an impact on the declining amount of food and economic growth in the agricultural sector. This study aims to: (1) analyze the perception of the younger generation in Pamijahan sub-district towards paddy rice farming and (2) analyze the factors that influence the interest of the younger generation towards paddy rice farming. The methods used in this research are quantitative descriptive analysis, and logistic regression. The results of the study shows that there are positive perceptions include income in farming and the role of the agricultural sector, and negative perceptions include business risks in farming, and work comfort in farming. Factors that have significant influences are age and family history of farmers with a positive influence, and family income with a negative influence.
