      Pengaruh Pengendalian Diri dan Literasi Keuangan Terhadap Perilaku Menabung Pada Siswa Menengah Atas

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengendalian diri dan literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku menabung siswa menengah atas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bogor, Jawa Barat, dengan sampel sebanyak 131 siswa jurusan IPA dan IPS dari salah satu sekolah menegah atas di Kota Bogor. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode selfadministered. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara karakteristik individu, karakteristik keluarga, literasi keuangan, dan pengendalian diri pada siswa IPA dan IPS. Namun perilaku menabung, siswa IPS lebih rutin menabung dibandingkan siswa IPA. Rata-rata siswa memiliki pengendalian diri yang cukup baik atau terkategori sedang. Literasi keuangan siswa pada dimensi pengetahuan masih rendah, namun memiliki sikap keuangan yang tinggi, dan perilaku keuangan pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji regresi logistik menunjukkan bahwa jurusan, pengetahuan keuangan, dan perilaku keuangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku menabung. Membaca buku tentang keuangan dan memperhatikan pembelajaran di sekolah sangat penting untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan keuangan siwa.
       
      This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy and self-control on the saving behavior of high school students. This research was conducted in Bogor, West Java, involving 131 science and social science students from High School in Bogor City. Sample withdrawal techniques are made by samping cluster. Data is collected through method of self administered. The results are not seen as significant differences in adolescents characteristics, family characteristics, financial literacy and self-control of students between scientific and social departments. Students majoring in social saves more regulary than students majoring in science. Financial knowladge are in the low category, financial attitude are in the high category and financial behavior are in the mediun category. Student self-control are in the medium category. Regression test results indicate that there is a significant positive influence of financial knowledge and self-control on saving behavior. Reading books on finances and paying attention to school studies is essential for improving the financial knowledge of students.
