      Pengaruh Anestesi Minyak Cengkih, Gliserol dan Lama Kejutan Suhu Beku terhadap Survival Rate Ikan Bawal (Colossoma macropomum)

      Abstract
      Kualitas prima ikan terjadi pada saat ikan masih hidup dan saat ikan baru mati dan dijaga kesegarannya, sehingga kelangsungan hidup (survival rate) harus dipertahankan selama mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh konsentrasi gliserol dan lama waktu kejutan suhu beku terhadap nilai survival rate (SR) ikan bawal yang dipingsankan menggunakan bahan anestesi minyak cengkih konsentrasi terbaik dan gliserol dengan konsentrasi terbaik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan minyak cengkih sebagai zat anestesi dan gliserol sebagai zat anti beku serta pemberian kejutan suhu beku -13oC dengan variasi waktu 30, 45 dan 60 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan minyak cengkih konsentrasi 250 ppm dan gliserol konsentrasi 3% serta kejutan suhu beku -13oC dengan variasi waktu berbeda ikan bawal dapat mempertahankan kelangsungan hidupnya (survival rate) dengan persentase nilai 100%.
       
      The prime quality of fish occurs when the fish is still alive or when the fish has just died and its freshness is maintained, so that the survival rate must be maintained as long as possible. This study aims to evaluate the effect of glycerol concentration and duration of freezing temperature shock on the survival rate (SR) of pomfret stunned using the best concentration of clove oil anesthetic and the best concentration of glycerol. The research method uses clove oil as an anesthetic and glycerol as an anti freeze agent as well as giving a freezing temperature shock of -13°C with a time variation of 30, 45, and 60 minutes. The results showed that the use of clove oil with a concentration of 250 ppm and glycerol concentration of 3% and a shock of -13oC with different time variations pomfret can maintain its survival rate (survival rate) with a percentage value of 100%.
