Konsep Desain Pengembangan Wisata Edukasi Lingkungan Pada Areal Pertambangan Migas Citic Seram Energy Limited, Provinsi Maluku.
Abstract
Wisata edukasi lingkungan merupakan suatu konsep perpaduan antara kegiatan wisata dan pendidikan lingkungan. Pengembangan wisata edukasi lingkungan pada areal pertambangan Migas Citic Seram Energy Limited merupakan suatu konsep desain yang dikembangkan dari salah satu program CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) CSEL yaitu study tour. Study Tour CSEL merupakan salah satu program Tahunan Kehumasan Citic Seram Energy sub-bidang Program Kerja Edukasi Publik yang telah berlangsung sejak tahun 2009 dengan melibatkan beberapa lembaga pendidikan dan lembaga perguruan tinggi di Maluku. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Areal Pertambangan Kontraktor Kontrak Kerja Sama (KKKS) Migas Citic Seram Energy Limited di Kecamatan Bula, Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur, Provinsi Maluku. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai dengan bulan Juli 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik kuesioner. Kuesioner yang digunakan terelaborasi dari gabungan pernyataan yang berpola tertutup dengan pemberian skor (scoring). Data hasil kuesioner yang telah diolah kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) untuk mengetahui tingkat kinerja (performance) variabel dan atribut kegiatan study tour yang digagas oleh CSEL. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep desain pengembangan wisata edukasi lingkungan pada areal pertambangan Migas di CSEL meliputi konsep pengembangan obyek, pengembangan program, pengembangan kurikulum, pengembangan manajemen dan peraturan. Dilihat dari konsep pengembangan obyek, obyek wisata edukasi lingkungan terdiri atas : Oseil Area, Field Facility, Main Production Facility, Jetty Area, dan wisata Hutan Mangrove. Environmental education tourism is a concept that combines tourism
activities and environmental education. The mining area as a tourist facility is not
only fun in terms of aesthetics and recreation, but also functions as a means of
environmental education.
The development of environmental education tourism in the Oil and Gas
Citic Seram Energy Limited mining area is a design concept developed from one
of CSEL's CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programs, namely the study
tour. The study tour referred to in the CSEL program is one of the Annual Public
Relations Citic Seram Energy programs in the Public Education Work Program
sub-field that has been taking place since 2009 by involving several educational
institutions and tertiary institutions in Maluku.
Every mining activity in this case oil and gas (oil and gas) is almost certain
to have a negative impact on environmental damage such as deforestation, air
pollution, water pollution (rivers and sea / coast) and negative impact on the
community's assessment of a company. Therefore, the development of
environmental education tours in the oil and gas mining area at Citic Seram
Energy Limited is expected to be a means of information and learning to increase
community awareness of the preservation of the mining environment and as a
foundation in the management of the environmentally sound mining industry.
This research aims to: 1). Mapping the object and circulation of study tour
activities in CSEL, 2). Assessing perceptions and preferences of CSEL study tour
participants regarding study tour activities in CSEL, 3). Assessing stakeholders'
perceptions and preferences regarding CSEL's CSR (Corporate Social
Responsibility) program, 4). Identifying study tour objects and other objects as a
plan to develop environmental education tourism in the CSEL Oil and Gas mining
area, 5). Assessing stakeholder perceptions and preferences regarding the
development plan of environmental education tours at CSEL, 6). Formulate the
design concept of the development of environmental education tourism in the
CSEL Oil and Gas mining area.
The method used is a survey method with a questionnaire technique, which
is a method of collecting data by giving a list of questions/ statements to
respondents and responding by giving a score. The questionnaire used was
elaborated from a combination of closed-patterned statements by scoring and
continued with in-depth interviews with stakeholders (in-dept interview). Data
from the questionnaire that has been processed and then analyzed using IPA
(Importance Performance Analysis) to determine the level of performance
(performance) variables and attributes of study tour activities initiated by CSEL.
Based on the results of the study indicate that the design concept of the
development of environmental education tourism in the area of oil and gas mining
in CSEL includes the concept of object development, program development,
curriculum development (material), management development and regulation.
Judging from the concept of object development, environmental education
tourism objects consist of: Oseil Area, Field Facility, Main Production Facility,
Jetty Area, Reforestation Activities, Hazardous Waste Management, and
Mangrove Forests tourism.
