Perkembangan Ekspor Kapulaga Indonesia dan Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhinya
Abstract
Agricultural sub-sector in Indonesia medicinal crops are one of the advantages that have great potential to develop and affect the national economy. Cardamom is a medicinal plant, and a food stitch. Indonesia already exports cardamom to international markets and has the potential to be the world's largest spice exporter. Indonesia with good cardamom quality and large quantity, cardamom can be one of the great export commodities and can be utilized to increase the country's foreign exchange and increase farmers' income in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the condition of cardamom development in the international market, analyze the factors affecting cardamom exports in Indonesia, and analyze the development of Indonesia's cardamom exports to international markets. This research will use multiple linear regression analysis with ordinary least square (OLS). Secondary and variable data used in this study are: (1) cardamom production volume, (2) cardamom export price, (3) rupiah real exchange rate against dolar, (4) world oil prices, (5) Indonesia GDP annual growth. All variables data used in the period from 2000 to 2019. The result of this research shows the factor of cardamoms export affected significantly by production volume and world oil prices.
