      Nanomagnetit Terdispersi Polivinil Pirolidon sebagai Penyuplai Fe terhadap Tanaman Torbangun (Coleus amboinicus L).

      Abstract
      Nanomagnetit (Fe3O4) merupakan mineral ferromagnetik berukuran nano, berwarna hitam, serta mengandung Fe2+ dan Fe3+. Nanomagnetit (NM) telah secara luas dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai bidang, di antaranya di bidang biomedis, bioteknologi, pertanian, dan remediasi lingkungan. Dalam bidang pertanian nanomagnetit dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan produktivitas tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pengaruh penggunaan nanomagnetit terdispersi polivinil pirolidon (PVP) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman torbangun (Coleus amboinicus L.). Perlakuan diberikan pada usia 2 minggu setelah penanaman. Aktivitas perlakuan dilakukan empat kali dengan interval 14 hari. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa NM mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan tinggi batang, lebar batang, jumlah daun, dan jumlah cabang. NM 1 ppm dan 3 ppm menunjukkan hasil terbaik dari semua perlakuan yang diberikan termasuk pemberiaan penyuplai besi komersial Fe-EDDHA. NM 1 ppm menunjukkan pengaruh terbaik terhadap tinggi dan jumlah cabang tanaman torbangun, sedangkan peningkatan jumlah daun dan lebar batang tertinggi terjadi pada pemberian nanomagnetit dengan konsentrasi 3 ppm. Parameter lebar daun menunjukkan hasil yang tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pemberian nanomagnetit pada semua konsentrasi.
       
      Nanomagnetite (Fe3O4) is a ferromagnetic mineral with nano size, black colour, and containing Fe2+ and Fe3+. Nanomagnetite (NM) has been widely used in various fields, Such biomedicine, biotechnology, agriculture, and environmental remediation. In agriculture, nanomagnetite is used as a fertilizer to improve the quality and productivity of plants. This research aims to evaluate the effect of polyvinyl pirolidone(PVP) dispersed nanomagnetite on the growth of torbangun plants (Coleus amboinicus L.).. treatment of NM was given into torbangun plants after planting for 2 weeks. This treatment was carried out for four times at intervals of 14 days. The application of nanomagnetite (NM) has been able to increase the growth of torbangun plants through stem height, stem width, number of leaves, and number of branches. The application of 1 ppm NM and 3 ppm NM showed the best results if we compared to all experimental treatments including the application of Fe-EDDHA as the commercial iron suppliers.The NM 1 ppm was very influential to the stem height and number of branches of the torbangun plant. Meanwhile the highest increase in number of leaves and stem width was occurred in the application of 3 ppm NM. Leaf width parameters showed no significant effect when treated with nanomagnetite at all concentrations.
