Hubungan Frame Score Induk dengan Bobot Lahir Pedet dan Calving Interval pada Sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) Kebumen

Abstract

Sapi PO Kebumen memiliki beberapa keunggulan dibandingkan dengan sapi potong lokal pada umumnya, antara lain kondisi tubuh lebih tinggi dan sifat reproduksi yang lebih baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan frame score induk dengan bobot lahir pedet dan calving interval. Materi yang digunakan yaitu data berpasangan dari 121 ekor induk PO Kebumen dengan pedetnya. Peubah yang diamati adalah frame score induk, bobot lahir pedet dan calving interval. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis rank spearman (rs), korelasi pearson dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi rank spearman frame score dengan bobot lahir pedet adalah 0.026 sedangkan frame score dengan calving interval adalah 0.095. Hasil korelasi pearson yang diperoleh adalah 0.000 untuk frame score dengan bobot lahir pedet dan 0.147 untuk frame score dengan calving interval. Nilai persamaan regresi frame score dengan bobot lahir pedet Y=31.693+0.000061X dan nilai regresi frame score dengan calving interval Y=413.467+8.524X. Disimpukan bahwa hubungan frame score induk tidak menentukan bobot lahir pedet dan calving interval.

PO Kebumen cattle has several advantages compared to the local beef cattle, including a higher body condition and better reproductive traits. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the cattle frame score with calving birth weight and calving interval. This study used 121 paired data of PO Kebumen cattle with their calves. Cattle frame score, calving birth weight and calving interval variables was observed. The data were analyzed using rank spearman correlation, pearson correlation and regression. The result showed that the rank spearman correlation value (rs) between the frame score and calving birth weight was 0.026 and 0.095 for the correaltion between frame score and calving interval. ThePearson correlation results was 0.000 for the correlation between frame score and calving birth weight and 0.147 for the frame score with calving interval. The frame score regression equation with calf birth weight was Y=31.693+0.000061X and the frame score regression equation with the calving interval was Y=413.467+8.524X. It can be concluded that the frame score did not correlate with the calving birth weight and the calving interval.
