Analisis Efisiensi BPRS di Provinsi Banten Periode 2014-2018

Abstract

Perkembangan UMKM di Banten yang cukup baik menjadi potensi bagi BPRS di Banten dalam memberikan pembiayaan. BPRS di Banten memiliki rasio NPF yang tinggi mengindikasikan bahwa BPRS mengalami pembiayaan bermasalah dan kinerja yang tidak efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat efisiensi dan perubahan produktivitas BPRS di Banten periode 2014-2018. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) dengan asumsi Constant Return to Scale (CRS) dengan orientasi output dan pendekatan intermediasi untuk menganalisis tingkat efisiensi teknis serta Malmquist Index untuk menganalisis produktivitas BPRS. Hasil penelitian dengan DEA menunjukkan skor efisiensi yang berfluktuasi dan hanya 2 BPRS yang mempertahankan skornya yang efisien pada periode penelitian. Pada hasil penelitian dengan Malmquist Index menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas BPRS Banten mengalami penurunan dan lebih dipengaruhi oleh perubahan teknologi daripada perubahan efisiensi.

The development of MSMEs in Banten is quite good, thus providing potential for BPRS in Banten to provide financing. BPRS in Banten has a high NPF ratio indicates that the BPRS is experiencing problematic financing and inefficient performance. This study aims to analyze the level of efficiency and changes in productivity in Banten in the 2014-2018 period. The method used in this study uses Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with the assumption of Constant Return to Scale (CRS) with an output orientation and an intermediation approach to analyze the level of technical efficiency and the Malmquist Index to analyze the productivity of BPRS. The results of the research with DEA show that the efficiency score fluctuates and only 2 BPRS maintain an efficient score in the research period. The results of the research with the Malmquist Index show that the productivity of BPRS has decreased and is more influenced by changes in technology than changes in efficiency.
