Analisis kesesuaian dan perencanaan tapak kawasan situ pengasinan sebagai kawasan pariwisata kota

Abstract

Significantly, tourism in Depok has not yet developed because tourism variety and object are still lacking there. Lake area which is potential to become tourism area has not yet been developed for tourism object. This research intends to plan the lake area called “Pengasinan” as an ecologically sound urban tourism area. The analysis used GIS (Geographic Information System) technology, a software ArcView version 3.30 which implements an intercept overlay method. Spatial analysis used weighted and scoring method by which appereance of object in space quantified. Evaluation is divided into location suitability (macro area) and zone suitability (micro area). Certainty of location and zone can be seen through the accumulationof scoring value. Result of analysis reveal that location of “Pengasinan” lake is physically worth to be developed as tourism area. Micro area analysis divides the area into 3 tourism zones, which consist of main zone (village view tourism), rest zone and supporting zone (water and shopping tourism). The site planning at each zone can satisfy the needs for facility and infrastucture there.
