Keragaan dan Pendapatan Usahatani Padi Program SLPTT dan Non Program SLPTT di Desa Sukaratu, Kecamatan Gekbrong, Kabupaten Cianjur

Abstract

Rice is the staple food for Indonesia. This can be indicated from the high rice consumption number, which is 102 kg per capita. Government has released Program Peningkatan Produksi Bears Nasional (P2BN) with Sekolah Lapang Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (SLPTT) as its instruments. Sukaratu village is one of the rice producers which have received the SLPTT program on year 2012. This study analyses the performance of rice farming of SLPTT and non SLPTT program, evaluates the implementation of SLPTT program in Sukaratu village, and analyses the income of rice farm business from SLPTT and non SLPTT program. The data were collected by direct structured interview with the rice farmers in Sukaratu Village. The result shows that the yield and the income of rice farm business from SLPTT program are 6.00 ton per ha and Rp 9 382 641, these numbers are higher than the non SLPTT program which are 5.17 ton per ha and Rp 6 538 504.
